报告人简介:

Thomas Martin Vondriska, PhD,Professor, Departments of Anesthesiology, Medicine, & Physiology, Division of Molecular Medicine, Cardiovascular Research Laboratories, David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles.

The Vondriska Lab at UCLA investigates epigenomic mechanisms of cardiovascular disease. Prof. Vondriska lab use systems biology approach to employ genomic, epigenomic and proteomic discovery tools to examine animal models and human populations. Bioinformatics and computational biology play important roles in his investigations of chromatin biology and cardiovascular health. They aim to discover the basic principles of chromatin biology as well as to understand the causes of cardiovascular disease--towards the goal of new therapies and cures.
